ICETE 2026 follows a book-chapter publication route: every accepted and presented paper is published as a chapter in an edited, peer-reviewed volume with its own DOI. This page explains the path from submission to publication and the standards manuscripts must meet.

All accepted and presented papers will be published as chapters in an edited, peer-reviewed volume. Each chapter receives an individual DOI. Extended versions of selected papers will be invited for submission to partner journals.

The Process

From submission to publication

  1. 1

    Submission

    Authors submit a full paper as a PDF through the online submission form before the submission deadline.

  2. 2

    Double-Blind Review

    Each paper is reviewed by at least two members of the technical programme committee. Author and reviewer identities are mutually concealed.

  3. 3

    Decision and Revision

    Authors receive an acceptance decision with written reviewer comments and revise their manuscript accordingly.

  4. 4

    Final Manuscript and Registration

    The final manuscript is submitted by the final manuscript deadline, and at least one author completes registration.

  5. 5

    Presentation

    The paper is presented in a technical session during the conference; presentation is a condition of publication.

  6. 6

    Publication

    The paper appears as a chapter in the conference volume, with an individual DOI and submission to the announced indexing services.

Standards

Requirements and ethics

These standards apply to every submission and are enforced throughout review and production.

Manuscript Requirements

  • Length: 12–20 pages including figures, tables, and references
  • Language: professional academic English, checked for grammar and clarity
  • Format: single-column manuscript, A4, 11pt, 1.5 line spacing, submitted as PDF. Figures and tables placed within the text at the point of first mention.
  • Originality: content must be original and not under review elsewhere
  • Similarity: an overall similarity index below 15% is required
  • Figures: legible at print size, with vector graphics preferred

Publication Ethics

  • Plagiarism, duplicate submission, and fabricated data lead to immediate rejection.
  • All listed authors must have made a genuine intellectual contribution to the work.
  • Any use of generative AI tools in manuscript preparation must be disclosed in the acknowledgements.
  • Conflicts of interest must be declared at submission.
